IC Resources is working with a well-funded stealth-mode AI hardware startup in London, seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead FPGA/RTL design across high-throughput data paths and streaming architectures. You will steer designs from architecture through RTL, verification, timing closure and hardware validation.
The role offers ownership in an early-stage team, collaboration with system architects and software engineers, and a chance to shape cutting-edge AI inference hardware.
We are working with a well-funded, stealth-mode AI start-up in London that is developing new hardware technology to make AI inference faster and significantly more power-efficient.
The company is led by a highly technical Founder and CEO who has successfully built technology start-ups before. Having already secured significant funding, they are now building out their engineering team and looking for an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to play a key role in developing their core technology.
You'll be working on FPGA-based AI acceleration systems, with a focus on designing high-performance architectures that can handle complex AI workloads while reducing power consumption.
Working alongside system architects, algorithm engineers and software developers, you'll take designs from initial architecture through RTL development, verification, timing closure and hardware validation. The role will involve developing high-throughput data paths, optimising data movement and integrating high-speed interfaces.
As an early member of the engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work, contribute to key technical decisions and help shape the company's technology as it grows.
They are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer with the following background:
This is a great opportunity for an FPGA Engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and wants to join a well-funded AI start-up at an early stage, with the chance to make a real impact on the technology being developed.
