Job summary

Expleo Group in Belfast is seeking a Principal FPGA Design Engineer to deliver firmware for defence-related products. This senior role requires a proven track record in FPGA/firmware design and delivering complex projects in regulated environments, with hybrid work: 3 days on client site in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards chartered is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of firmware teams to deliver firmware projects to agreed time, cost and quality.
• Verify firmware using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog and related verification languages.
• Design firmware using hardware description languages and maintain firmware design documentation.
• Enhance firmware related processes, scripting and reporting for efficiency.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery.
