Job summary

Ambition is partnering with a professional services firm seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join the finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on providing financial insight, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis in collaboration with senior leadership.

Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will partner with operational teams to understand key drivers, develop financial models, and deliver insightful management information to support

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience handling large and complex data sets.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders constructively.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department heads and senior stakeholders to understand financial performance and key business drivers.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for designated business areas.
• Produce and analyse monthly management information, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support growth initiatives.
• Monitor departmental performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Support continual enhancement of management reporting and financial planning processes.
• Contribute to finance transformation and ad hoc strategic projects.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
