Job summary

Unum UK is seeking an FP&A specialist to lead the financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities, shaping the company’s financial plans and supporting strategic decisions.

You will drive the annual planning cycle and ongoing forecasting for UK and US stakeholders, develop reporting tools and present financial insights to senior leaders. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Anaplan skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA CGMA) or equivalent finance experience.
• Experience in FP&A or a similar analytical finance role.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for insightful reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities.
• Support annual planning and ongoing forecasting for UK and US stakeholders.
• Produce monthly management information and MPR insights.
• Develop and enhance reporting, forecasting and modelling tools.
• Partner with Finance and business colleagues to understand drivers.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
