Johnson Matthey is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst, Operations, for a fixed-term maternity cover, to support regional finance, commercial and supply chain decision-making across Europe. The role involves providing timely financial performance reporting, owning monthly forecasts, and delivering variance and profitability analyses to drive informed actions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, with budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Experience building collaborative relationships across functions and geographies in operational, commercial and finance environments.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, clear and comprehensive financial performance reporting and insights for non-production plants across Europe.
• Owning monthly forecasting activities, including product revenue and operating cost forecasts, to support planning and decision-making.
• Preparing financial analysis, including variance, trend and profitability analysis, to identify key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
