Goodman Masson is partnering with a global B2B information services business to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst for its London finance team. The role is highly commercial with exposure to senior leadership, focusing on analysis and insights to drive growth and profitability.

The team is scaling rapidly and finance acts as a business partner, supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost control and key investment decisions, including transformation work.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning tools used for budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Comfort working with senior leadership and turning numbers into actionable insights.
• Exposure to M&A or value-creation projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes.
• Own and develop the planning tool, design models and automate reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Partner with department heads and non-finance stakeholders to improve cost control.
• Deliver ad hoc commercial analysis including scenario planning and tracking.
• Support CFO and Senior FP&A Manager on investment cases and M&A activity.
• Contribute to transformation projects reshaping the finance function.

Senior FP&A Analyst | B2B Market Intelligence | £65,000 to £70,000 plus bonus | London - Hybrid

Goodman Masson are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global B2B Information Services business to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst for their London finance team. This is a highly commercial role with strong exposure to senior leadership, providing the analysis and insight that help drive growth and profitability.

The business is scaling rapidly in the UK and internationally - growing ARR by 20% in the last year. Finance is seen as a true business partner and plays a central role in budgeting, forecasting, improving operational performance and supporting key investment decisions.

The Role

This isn't a traditional reporting role. You'll work closely with budget owners and senior management, turning numbers into clear recommendations that improve business outcomes. Alongside core FP&A, you'll get hands-on involvement in the company's transformation programme and exposure to M&A and value creation work, which is ideal for someone looking to accelerate their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Own and develop the planning tool, acting as a builder to design models, improve forecasting processes and automate reporting
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decision-making
• Business partner department heads and non-finance stakeholders, helping them understand their numbers and improve cost control
• Deliver ad hoc commercial analysis, including scenario planning and performance tracking
• Support the CFO and Senior FP&A Manager on investment cases, M&A and value creation work
• Contribute to transformation projects that will reshape the finance function and wider business operations

What We're Looking For

• Ideally have hands-on experience with a planning tool such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning (Workday), Oracle EPM/Hyperion, Board, Jedox, Planful, Vena, Cube, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Ideally experience with recurring revenue models
