Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnering with a global SaaS business to hire a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) for the London finance team. The role is highly commercial, providing analysis and insights to drive growth and profitability, with exposure to senior leadership and a finance transformation program.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting, build financial models, and partner with non-finance stakeholders to understand numbers and improve cost control.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, Board or similar).
• Experience with recurring revenue models is preferred.
• Confident communication with senior, non-finance stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to impact and growth.

Finance Business Partner - FP&A | Tech & SaaS | £60,000 to £70,000 plus bonus | London - Hybrid

Goodman Masson are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global SaaS business to hire a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) for their London finance team. This is a highly commercial role with strong exposure to senior leadership, providing the analysis and insight that help drive growth and profitability.

The business is scaling rapidly in the UK and internationally. Finance is seen as a true business partner and plays a central role in budgeting, forecasting, improving operational performance and supporting key investment decisions.

The Role

This isn’t a traditional reporting role. You'll work closely with budget owners and senior management, turning numbers into clear recommendations that improve business outcomes. Alongside core FP&A, business partnering and financial analysis/modelling, you'll get hands-on involvement in the company's finance transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decision-making
• Own and develop the planning tool, acting as a builder to design models, improve forecasting processes and automate reporting
• Business partner department heads and non-finance stakeholders, helping them understand their numbers and improve cost control
• Deliver ad hoc commercial analysis, including scenario planning and performance tracking
• Support the CFO and Senior FP&A Manager on investment cases, M&A and value creation work
• Contribute to transformation projects that will reshape the finance function and wider business operations

What We're Looking For

• Ideally have hands-on experience with a planning tool such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning (Workday), Oracle EPM/Hyperion, Board, Jedox, Planful, Vena, Cube, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Ideally experience with recurring revenue models
• Confident communicating with senior, non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive, commercially minded individual who wants to make an impact and grow with the business
