Job summary

Cross Border Talents seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in London to design and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems. You will work hybrid, building enterprise-grade solutions using top AI platforms and integrating with various enterprise services.

Required hands-on software engineering with Python/TypeScript/Java and strong experience in LLMs, agent frameworks, and orchestration. You will own delivery from discovery to production and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop production-ready AI agents and multi-agent workflows
• Build AI solutions using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google and Microsoft, alongside frameworks such as LangGraph
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud services and internal business systems
• Implement retrieval pipelines, automation workflows and agent orchestration
• Develop evaluation frameworks, automated testing, monitoring and production safeguards
• Troubleshoot AI model, integration, deployment and performance issues
• Own technical delivery from discovery and prototyping through production deployment
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, security, maintainability and scalability

REQUIREMENTS:

• Several years of hands-on software engineering experience using Python, TypeScript, Java or equivalent programming languages
• Proven experience developing applications using large language models (LLMs) and AI agents
• Hands-on experience with at least one major agentic AI ecosystem, such as OpenAI Agents SDK, Anthropic Claude Agent SDK, Google ADK, Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph or an equivalent framework
• Strong understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompting and multi-agent workflows
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, enterprise applications and cloud services
• Strong software architecture, debugging, testing and integration skills
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
