Lovable is seeking an experienced Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to help shape the Lovable platform by building production-grade software for customer-focused AI solutions. You will be a founding member of the FDE function, working directly with customers to translate ambitious ideas into real products and to ship production code across frontend, backend, and AI systems.

You will help define engineering standards, collaborate with core product teams, and travel up to 50% as needed to engage

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong backend/frontend knowledge and ownership of production code.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Ability to prototype rapidly and ship reliable solutions.
• Strong product intuition and ability to work directly with users.
• Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and end-to-end responsibility.

• Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, needs, and problems.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs and working production systems.
• Design, code, test, deploy, and operate solutions across Lovable’s frontend and backend.
• Translate insights from real usage into foundational platform improvements.
• Own projects end-to-end—from discovery and architecture through shipping and iteration.
• Debug complex issues across application, infrastructure, and AI-system boundaries.
• Shape how Forward Deployed Engineering operates at Lovable, including its standards and playbooks.
• Contribute to core product strategy and technical decisions.
