Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to design, integrate, and deploy AI-powered solutions in real-world production environments. You will act as a technical owner from solution design through implementation, ensuring high-impact outcomes and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, leveraging React.js for frontend, Python/Node.js for backend, and strong AI/ML expertise to deliver robust, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on React.js frontend development.
• Strong Python and Node.js backend development.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model lifecycle, inference, and real-world deployment considerations.
• Experience working with AI-powered systems, such as LLMs, ML APIs, or data-driven applications.
• Proven experience in system integration, including REST APIs, webhooks, and external services.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous, customer-facing scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (unit, integration, e2e) and basic security practices (auth, encryption, compliance)
