Join a forward-thinking firm as a Senior Structural Forensic Engineer and be at the forefront of innovative building solutions. In this dynamic role, you will tackle complex structural challenges, ensuring compliance and proposing effective remedial measures. With opportunities for career advancement and skill development, you will collaborate with a talented team, engage with clients, and contribute to significant projects. This position not only offers a competitive salary and benefits but also a commitment to your continuous professional growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. Embrace the chance to make a real impact in the built environment.
Thrive on openness, respect and collaboration? Good. Us too. Join as our new Senior Structural Forensic Engineer.
We have an opportunity for a leading role in the area of Structural Forensics within our London Structures team. You will work as part of the leadership of a team working on a number of projects requiring the review of existing building structures with risks of design flaws.
The challenge is to diagnose the status of the design in relation to code compliance, communicate any deficiencies and propose remedial measures to extend the life of the building with minimum disruption to the building stakeholders.
This is a technically demanding role and we are seeking candidates with a strong interest in this area of work. It is more important that candidates have a strong interest in this area of work and want to develop their skills than it is that they have considerable experience of this type of work. The ideal candidate will have considerable ability in the detailed structural analysis and investigation of structures, and the ability to bring considerable creativity to resolving structural problems and deficiencies. The work requires a detailed understanding of structural load paths, principles, and detailing in concrete and steel buildings.
This is a growing area of work for us and this role will offer significant opportunity for taking on responsibility and career development, and for developing advanced engineering skills and approaches.
For the right candidate, we will consider an appointment at Associate grade.
