Job summary

Senior Forensic Social Worker role at Elysium Healthcare in Thatcham (Thornford Park). Manage caseloads, lead safeguarding, prepare CPA reports, and participate in Mental Health Tribunals. Opportunity to supervise junior staff and work within a multidisciplinary regional team.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification required.
• Registration with Social Work England required.
• Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams on safeguarding and best interest decisions.
• Manage and support a caseload of forensic service users with mental health conditions.
• Prepare CPA reports and attend Mental Health Tribunals and Managers Hearings.
• Supervise junior staff members and contribute to staff development.
• Engage external agencies to fulfil statutory duties (MAPPA, Local Authority, Police, Probation).
