Job summary

EPUT in Essex is seeking an experienced Senior Forensic Practitioner (Band 7) to join the Specialist Community Forensic Team. You will provide clinical and operational leadership while holding a caseload of service users with complex needs and work within a multidisciplinary team.

The role supports the move to three geographical teams, extended hours, and improved coordination across primary and secondary care, with a focus on safe discharge, risk management and high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Significant experience at Band 7 level in clinical or forensic settings.
• Evidence of post qualifying continued learning and professional development.
• Experience in offender mental health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage and coordinate the team caseload and ensure care planning and risk management.
• Chair MDT meetings and support service development.
• Support transitions and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with partners to improve patient flow.
