Job summary

Adlib Recruitment seeks a Lead Forecasting & Insight Analyst to join its Data & Insight team in the UK. You will own complex forecasting and modelling projects, combining hands-on modelling, client engagement and technical leadership.

You’ll work with large, varied datasets, develop forecasts, build scenarios and translate findings into clear recommendations for clients and senior stakeholders. You’ll mentor others, strengthen analytical processes and help the wider team adopt best practices

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years' experience within analytics, forecasting, economics, statistics, actuarial science or a related quantitative field
• Significant experience leading complex analytical projects from end to end
• Strong forecasting and statistical modelling experience
• Experience with regression, time-series analysis, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Experience developing, validating and improving analytical models
• Advanced Excel skills and practical SQL experience
• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills
• Experience reviewing the work of others and providing technical guidance
• Ability to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences
• Experience with R would be highly beneficial
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Azure or Databricks would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own complex forecasting and modelling projects from initial scoping through to delivery
• Develop forecasts, build scenarios, refine methodologies and translate findings into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders
• Strengthen forecasting approaches, review assumptions, validate model outputs and identify opportunities to improve analytical quality
• Lead consultancy-style analytical work, produce market and benchmarking insight, and present findings to senior stakeholders
• Mentor others, improve analytical processes and help the wider team adopt best practice
• Act as a senior analytical voice within the function and help shape its future direction
