Sector Global Limited is seeking an experienced Flutter developer to help shape Eventware, our event technology platform. You will build and enhance mobile apps that connect people, enable navigation at events, and manage meetings with secure, high-performing software.

You will influence technical decisions, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver accessible experiences at major international events. Hybrid working from Clevedon office is offered.

You'll play an important role in developing and improving ourmobile applications, creating intuitive experiences that helppeople connect, navigate events, manage meetings and discovernew opportunities.

Our applications are used at major international events, oftenin demanding environments where connectivity can be unreliableand thousands of attendees depend on the technology. We'relooking for someone who enjoys solving these challenges andtakes pride in building secure, reliable and high-performancemobile applications.

You'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions,contribute ideas and take ownership of solutions from conceptthrough to release.

• Develop and enhance our Flutter applications for iOSand Android.
• Design and build secure, scalable and high-performancemobile applications.
• Develop robust offline functionality, local data storageand synchronisation to ensure applications work reliablywith limited or intermittent connectivity.
• Integrate mobile applications with our platform APIsand third-party services.
• Implement features including push notifications,interactive maps, QR code scanning and real-time updates.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, batteryconsumption and reliability across a wide range of devices.
• Take ownership of technical solutions, from understandingrequirements and evaluating approaches through toimplementation, testing and release.
• Work closely with our product, design and developmentteams to deliver intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Contribute to application architecture, code reviews,automated testing and continuous improvement.
• Make effective use of AI-assisted development tools toimprove productivity while maintaining high standardsof security and code quality.

We're looking for an experienced developer with strongtechnical skills, an analytical approach to problem-solvingand a genuine interest in creating excellent mobile experiences.

• Strong commercial experience developing mobile applicationsusing Flutter and Dart.
• Proven experience delivering and maintaining productionapplications for both iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture,state management and maintainable code design.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handlingasynchronous data.
• Experience implementing local data storage, offlinefunctionality and data synchronisation.
• Good understanding of mobile application performance,memory management and optimisation.
• Experience with push notifications, application lifecyclemanagement and native device capabilities.
• Understanding of secure mobile development practices,including authentication, secure data storage andAPI communication.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, debugging andautomated testing.
• Familiarity with the Apple App Store and Google Playsubmission and release processes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, or awillingness to adopt them as part of your development workflow.
• Good communication skills and the ability to workcollaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Native iOS or Android development using Swift or Kotlin.
• Experience with offline-first application architectureand complex data synchronisation.
• Experience with maps, location services, indoor navigationor Bluetooth beacons.
• Experience with Firebase services, push notificationplatforms and real-time messaging.
• Mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated builds anddeployment workflows.
• Experience with AWS-hosted services and cloud-basedapplication architectures.
• Mobile accessibility, internationalisation and localisation.
• Experience developing SaaS applications, white-label mobileproducts or applications supporting large numbers of users.
