Job summary

Rullion Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Flutter Engineer for a six-month, hybrid role (one office day per week). The candidate will design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps using Flutter and Dart, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams, and contributing to architecture decisions and testing practices.

The role is Inside IR35, 37 hours per week, with a London office location at 47-53 Charterhouse St. Prior leadership and CI/CD experience are valued.

Join a dynamic energy provider dedicated to sustainable solutions in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Engineer to join a fast‑paced development team delivering high‑quality mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cross‑platform applications using Flutter, while contributing to architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.

Initially it will be a six‑month contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one day a week being based in their London. It is a full‑time role, 37 hours per week.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Flutter applications for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to other developers.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Extensive commercial experience developing mobile applications with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with cloud‐based services.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready applications.
• Knowledge of state management solutions.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
• Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
• Previous experience working within Agile delivery teams.
