Sector Global Limited is seeking an experienced IT Manager to own internal IT systems, device management and infrastructure. You’ll manage Microsoft 365, Apple and Windows devices, and support business communications across the organisation, including testing and deployment for events.

You’ll collaborate with product and event teams, help with software testing, troubleshoot issues and configure touchscreen kiosks and digital signage for international events.

• Proven experience in IT administration, systems management or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong practical experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, app deployment and OS updates.
• Good knowledge of macOS and iOS/iPadOS device management, troubleshooting and security.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on IT manager totake responsibility for our internal IT systems, devicemanagement and technical infrastructure.

At Sector Global, we deliver international event servicesand develop technology used at major trade shows andconferences around the world. Our business combineseveryday corporate IT with specialist technology,including interactive kiosks, digital signage andmobile applications.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys solvingtechnical problems, improving systems and makingtechnology work better for everyone.

You'll manage our Microsoft 365 environment, maintainand secure our fleet of Apple and Windows devices,support our business communications systems and helpprepare, test and deploy technology for events.

You'll also work alongside our product and event teams,assisting with software testing, troubleshooting andthe installation of interactive event technology.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortableconfiguring a Microsoft Intune policy, troubleshootinga Mac, managing a phone system or setting up aninteractive touchscreen at an international event.

• Manage and maintain our Microsoft 365 Business Premiumenvironment, including user accounts, licensing,access permissions and security settings.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including identitymanagement, multifactor authentication, ConditionalAccess and access controls.
• Manage Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive andExchange Online, supporting collaboration, communicationand information management across the business.
• Maintain Microsoft Defender security configurations,monitor device protection and investigate security issues.
• Manage Microsoft Purview information protection features,including sensitivity labels and data protection policies.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees,ensuring devices, accounts and permissions arecorrectly configured.
• Maintain documentation, IT policies and procedures,supporting our ISO 27001 certification and widersecurity compliance requirements.
• Manage our Apple and Windows device estate usingMicrosoft Intune.
• Configure and maintain macOS, iOS, iPadOS andWindows device management policies.
• Manage device enrolment, application deployment,operating system updates and compliance monitoring.
• Administer Apple Business Manager and supportautomated Apple device provisioning.
• Troubleshoot device issues, resolve user supportrequests and maintain reliable endpoint performance.
• Implement and maintain device security controls,including encryption, endpoint protection andsecure authentication.
• Identify opportunities to automate routine ITadministration and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare, configure and maintain interactive touchscreenkiosks and digital signage systems used atinternational events.
• Configure Windows-based kiosk devices, includingsingle-app operation, device lockdown andremote management.
• Install and troubleshoot touchscreen displays,compact PCs, peripherals and associated hardware.
• Test equipment, applications and connectivity beforedeployment to event venues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, networking and softwareissues affecting kiosk and display installations.
• Support the installation, configuration and operationof event technology on-site when required.
• Develop reliable processes for equipment preparation,deployment, testing and recovery.
• Administer our 3CX phone system, including users,extensions, call queues, routing, digital receptionistsand SIP trunk configurations.
• Troubleshoot telephony issues and maintain reliablebusiness communications.
• Support software quality assurance by testing webapplications, mobile applications and interactiveevent technology.
• Carry out functional, regression and user acceptancetesting, identifying and documenting bugs andusability issues.
• Work with our development team to reproduce problems,verify fixes and support software releases.
• Help evaluate new technologies, software solutionsand AI tools that could improve business efficiency.

We're looking for a technically capable, organised andproactive individual who takes ownership of problemsand enjoys finding practical solutions.

You'll need a broad understanding of modern IT systems,excellent troubleshooting skills and the confidenceto work independently.

• Proven experience in IT administration, systemsmanagement or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong practical experience administering Microsoft 365in a business environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, including deviceconfiguration, application deployment, compliancepolicies and operating system updates.
• Good knowledge of macOS and iOS/iPadOS devicemanagement, troubleshooting and security.

• Ability to carry out structured software testing,investigate problems and document findings clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detailand the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good communication skills and a patient, approachablemanner when supporting colleagues.
• Advanced Microsoft Intune administration,particularly for Apple devices.
• Apple Business Manager and automated device enrolment.
• Windows kiosk mode, assigned access and locked-downdevice configurations.
• Interactive touchscreen displays, digital signagesystems or audiovisual installations.
• Experience administering 3CX or other VoIP/PBXtelephone systems.
• Microsoft PowerShell scripting and IT automation.
• Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels andinformation protection.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001, Cyber Essentialsor similar information security standards.
• Software testing experience across web andmobile applications.
• Experience with AWS, Cloudflare or other cloudinfrastructure services.
• Experience deploying and supporting technologyat exhibitions, conferences or live events.

A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, as therole may involve travelling to event venues andtransporting equipment.
