Strata Consulting Limited in Bishop's Stortford is seeking an ambitious Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer to take ownership of projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team on planning applications, drainage strategies and masterplans.

Formación

• A relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is essential.
• Strong understanding of flood risk and drainage principles (NPPF, CIRIA SuDS, Sewer Sector Guidance, Building Regulations).
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports to support planning applications.
• Experience designing drainage schemes using MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for planning applications for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Undertake the detailed design of surface water and foul drainage schemes to relevant standards.
• Collaborate with clients, local authorities, planning consultants and designers to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Provide clear technical advice on flood risk and drainage for masterplans and site layouts.
• Prepare and contribute to fee proposals, manage project deliverables and support delivery from planning to detailed design.
