My Client, a market leading Environmental Consultancy based in Chester, is searching for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join their supportive team.

Role Overview

As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller, you should have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK-based consultancy specializing in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

It is beneficial for applicants to reside in the local area, as you will be required to work from the office occasionally.

The role involves working on varied projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mixed-use developments for both private and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow
• Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, and nutrient neutrality assessments
• Hydrological assessments and drainage strategies
• Natural flood management initiatives
• Flood risk mapping and estimation
• Supporting new team members and checking technical flood risk and complex hydraulic modelling
• Liaising with private sector clients and local authorities to develop opportunities and ensure project delivery within time and budget
