Job summary

Pell Frischmann is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join the Flood and Water Management team across the UK. You will support delivery of flood alleviation schemes, reservoir storage projects, and sustainable drainage solutions, working with multidisciplinary teams from feasibility through to asset management.

Flexible across UK offices with hybrid working. Open to Engineer through to Principal level, offering career progression, chartership support, and client engagement opportunities within

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in planning, design or delivery of flood risk or water projects.
• Knowledge of UK design standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civil design of flood risk management and water infrastructure projects.
• Develop reservoir storage and attenuation solutions.
• Undertake hydraulic and hydrological assessments to inform design.
• Design earthworks, embankments, spillways and drainage structures.
• Deliver surface water and drainage strategies including SuDS.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and specifications.
• Support reservoir safety inspections and compliance.
• Collaborate with regulators, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, programmes and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development.
