Job summary

Virgin Media O2 is seeking a highly skilled 3rd Line Network Support engineer to own and resolve complex issues across Fixed Access and Wholesale Access platforms. You will work hands‑on with XGS‑PON, DOCSIS, EVPN and NNIs, in a fast‑moving team that delivers end‑to‑end support for customers and the business.

You’ll guide junior colleagues and shape new platforms while maintaining BAU excellence. The role sits at the heart of our network, collaborating with Data Centre, Core, Corporate and ISP

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in supporting carrier / enterprise grade network infrastructure.
• Fundamental understanding of ISIS, MPLS, SR MPLS, EVPN, IPv6.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching and the OSI model.
• Ability to lead and communicate during major incidents.
