MCS Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on major construction projects. You will manage commercial and contractual aspects from procurement through to completion, and lead subcontract procurement, valuations and final accounts across UK sites.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, and the willingness to travel regularly to projects throughout the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or equivalent.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of commercial responsibilities.
• Experience within healthcare, care homes, hotels, residential or similar high-specification developments would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly to projects throughout the UK.
