Zusammenfassung

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on high-specification developments across the UK. This role covers commercial and contractual oversight from procurement through to completion.

You will lead subcontract procurement, valuations, cost reporting and final accounts, manage variations and negotiations, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of commercial responsibilities.
• Experience in healthcare, care homes, hotels, residential or high-spec developments is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly to projects across the UK.

• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and final settlements.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
• Support delivery of projects across the UK.

• Provide regular commercial reporting and updates to senior management.
• Support the successful delivery of projects across the UK.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or equivalent.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of commercial responsibilities.
• Experience within healthcare, care homes, hotels, residential or similar high-specification developments would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly to projects throughout the UK.
