Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to own the delivery of multiple fire and security projects across London and the South. You will manage projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence and high quality.

Ideal candidates will have strong commercial acumen, technical capability to coordinate complex systems, and the ability to lead client meetings while coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple projects involving fire alarms, life-safety and security systems.
• Commercially minded with understanding of project costs, margins and variations.
• Technically capable to coordinate fire and security system issues.
• Organised enough to manage several projects, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Client focused with professional communication to clients and contractors.
• Proactive in identifying problems and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of fire alarm, life-safety and electronic security projects, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially successful outcomes.
• Review specifications, drawings, quotations and contract docs to support delivery and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
• Develop and manage project programmes, monitor progress, resources, budgets and milestones.
• Coordinate and manage engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee procurement activities, including long-lead equipment, materials and supplier performance.
• Attend and lead client, contractor and project meetings, maintaining strong relationships.
• Identify, price, negotiate and recover project variations and support commercial discussions.
• Maintain risk, procurement and variation registers, mitigating project risks.
• Coordinate design development, technical submissions and resolution of design queries.
• Manage testing, commissioning, witness testing, snagging and defect resolution.
• Oversee project handover, including submission of O&M manuals and completion docs.
