Job summary
Mitie is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to lead on-site delivery of fire alarm and security projects across the M25 area and surrounding locations. You will oversee installation, commissioning and handover, working with a small, dedicated team and receiving extensive on-the-job training to achieve expert status on key systems.
You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality workmanship and excellent customer liaison across prestigious sites, including hotels, stadia and education
Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
- Electrically competent; able to carry out safe isolations.
- Experience with installing, commissioning and maintaining fire and security systems.
- Customer oriented with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Desire to learn and progress within the company.
Responsibilities
- Take on the on-site lead in delivery of fire and security projects, including installation and commissioning.
- Provide high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain relationships with end-users.
- Liaise with Contract Manager, Senior Engineer and Service Manager; participate in ongoing training and appraisals.
- Work within a small dedicated team and cover prestigious, long-standing contracts.
