Job summary

Alecto Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer for a role in the Bury, Manchester area. You will install, service and commission high-grade fire and security systems while taking ownership of projects and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has solid commissioning experience, a strong fault-finding capability and a proactive approach. Local/regional travel and ongoing training are on offer within a long-standing security-focused business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Fire Alarm and Security systems.
• Commissioning experience is highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of Fire & Security systems.
• Commissioning and handing over systems to customers.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Working across Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Taking ownership of jobs from installation through to completion.
• Liaising directly with customers and site contacts.
• Completing service reports, commissioning documentation and relevant paperwork.
• Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge where required.

LOCATION - Bury, Manchester

Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer who is looking for a role where their technical ability is genuinely valued.

We're looking for someone with a strong background across Fire & Security, ideally with solid commissioning experience, who can work independently, deal confidently with customers and take ownership of their work.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Proven experience with Fire Alarm and Security systems.
• Commissioning experience is highly desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.Experience across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications such as FIA, BAFE, ECS or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Someone confident working independently and directly with customers.
