Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Senior Fire & Security Engineer for on-site work in the Manchester area. You will install, service and maintain Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems, with a strong focus on commissioning and handing over to customers.

You will take ownership of projects and work closely with site contacts to deliver high-quality outcomes. The role offers a competitive salary (up to £45,000 base) with overtime, a company vehicle, pension and ongoing technical

Qualifications

• Strong experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Proven experience with Fire Alarm and Security systems.
• Commissioning experience is highly desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Experience across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of Fire & Security systems.
• Commissioning and handing over systems to customers.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Working across Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Taking ownership of jobs from installation through to completion.
• Liaising directly with customers and site contacts.
• Completing service reports, commissioning documentation and relevant paperwork.
• Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge where required.
