Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi-Discipline Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a growing team around Manchester. The role offers the chance to work across multiple disciplines, broadening technical skillsets while contributing to a strong project pipeline.

You will install Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems on commercial sites, handle first/second fix works, and collaborate with site managers to ensure safe, high-quality handovers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing Fire & Security systems.
• At least two of the following disciplines: Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control.
• Experience with commercial environments and system infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install Fire Alarm and Security systems across commercial sites.
• Install and configure Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Carry out first and second fix installation works.
• Install containment, cabling and associated equipment.
• Assist with commissioning and system handover.
• Work from drawings and project specifications.
• Diagnose installation issues and resolve problems on site.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety.
• Liaise with customers, site managers and other contractors.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience installing Fire & Security systems.
• Strong experience in at least two of the following:
• Fire Alarms
• Intruder Alarms
• CCTV
• Access Control
• Installation experience across commercial environments.
• Good understanding of cabling, containment and system infrastructure.
• Commissioning experience is advantageous.
• FIA, ECS, CSCS or equivalent qualifications desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Someone practical, reliable and capable of working independently.
