Job summary

Vivo Talent is recruiting an experienced Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety across a substantial housing portfolio. You will drive compliance, shape strategy and oversee improvement programmes to protect residents, customers, visitors and colleagues.

As the fire safety lead, you will ensure adherence to Fire Safety Act, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and Building Safety Act, while managing budgets and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in fire safety management, ideally within social housing or similar property environment.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, building regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing Fire Risk Assessments, fire strategies and remedial programmes.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing specialist teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Fire Safety Surveyors, overseeing performance and workload.
• Develop fire strategies and ensure Fire Risk Assessments are completed and remedial actions addressed.
• Oversee specialist consultants, contracts, procurement and major fire safety improvements.
• Act as main contact with Fire and Rescue Service, manage audits and regulatory requirements.
