Job summary

Arup’s Fire Safety team in the UK seeks a senior Fire Engineer to deliver evidence-based fire safety engineering for high-profile projects, from historic restorations to modern cultural buildings. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop design solutions, and secure approvals from authorities.

This role sits within a 400+ strong fire safety network across 20 offices, supported by a culture of learning, CPD and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fire engineering or related field and professional recognition or near-chartered status.
• Strong experience delivering evidence-based fire safety solutions for UK projects.
• Proven ability to lead client meetings and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of fire safety engineering services for clients and projects.
• Manage project teams, budgets and schedules across the UK.
• Communicate complex fire safety concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gain approvals.
