Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering high-level fire safety management in large/complex organisations.
• Experience using electronic systems for risk management and reporting.
• Knowledge of the competent person role under Fire Safety regulations and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce effective fire risk assessment programmes, policies and procedures.
• Ensure legal standards are maintained and a positive fire safety culture is embedded across Torbay Council.
• Collaborate with contractors, service managers and Property Services to prioritise risk and improvements.
