Job summary

NPG Fire Safety Ltd is seeking an experienced fire risk assessor to join our consultancy team at Senior or Principal level. The role includes two site days per week and two days for reports, with potential for growth in complex assessments and technical review.

The ideal candidate will hold NFRAR Intermediate/Advanced, have BS 8674 mapped competence, and bring strong report-writing and client communication skills, plus a full UK driving licence for site travel.

Qualifications

• Current registration on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register (NFRAR) at Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Working knowledge of BAFE SP205 (principal).
• A recognised Level 4 qualification in fire risk assessment, or equivalent competence mapped to BS 8674.
• Substantial experience independently undertaking fire risk assessments.
• Excellent report-writing and client communication skills.
• Sound, proportionate technical judgement and an understanding of the limits of your competence.
• A full driving licence valid for driving in the UK and the ability to undertake the required site travel.
