Jacobs is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer in Manchester to lead fire engineering design across a varied portfolio of infrastructure and buildings. You will develop fire strategies, deliver design solutions and prepare technical reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams through concept to construction stages.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering fire engineering design solutions on large infrastructure or complex building projects.
• A degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience preparing fire strategies, technical reports and fire engineering assessments.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK fire safety standards, regulations and guidance.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Chartered Engineer status or are actively working towards chartership, ideally through the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).

Responsibilities

• Deliver fire engineering support across a wide range of infrastructure and built environment projects.
• Develop fire strategies and deliver fire engineering design solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and fire engineering assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure and building projects.
