Job summary

Une entreprise de conception et de livraison de services d'incendie recherche un ingénieur concepteur mécanique senior pour rejoindre son équipe à Manchester. Vous serez responsable de la conception 3D, du service et de l'installation de systèmes de sécurité incendie, en travaillant au sein d'une petite équipe pour offrir un excellent service client.

Qualifications

• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.
• Expérience en conception CAO 3D dans l'industrie de la sécurité incendie.
• Permis de conduire britannique complet.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation et maintenance de systèmes de sécurité incendie.
• Diagnostic des pannes mécaniques et réparations.
• Travail en équipe pour fournir un service de qualité aux clients.

My client designs and delivers fire services to commercial and domestic clients. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.

The Fire & Security Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar ideally in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role would be preferred
• 3D CAD Design Experience in the fire industry
• Mechanical / electrical Installation experience would be beneficial
• Be a hands-on, practical engineer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be a team player with a positive attitude
• Be a mentor to junior/graduate engineers
• Have a full UK driving licence

The Fire & Security Engineer role will involve:

• Hands-on servicing, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems
• Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
• Working within a small team to deliver a quality service to customers
• Travelling to and from customer sites for around 2 hours a day
• Occasional further travel in the UK e.g. to Scotland or Wales
