Vipond Fire Protection, part of Chubb Fire & Security, now has an opportunity for a Senior Sprinkler Design Engineer for a remote opportunity. Following recent business wins, we are keen to add to our Design team to manage fire protection systems remotely.

Goals and Objectives:

• Ensure high-quality system designs in compliance with relevant standards and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Design sprinkler systems for various applications (large and small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM)
• Take design responsibility throughout project lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation, installation drawings, and coordination models.
• Perform hydraulic calculations.
• Conduct on-site surveys as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum LPCB Basic Design qualification.
• LPCB Intermediate and FHC qualifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential; familiarity with FM & NFPA standards is a plus.
• Degree or HND in a related discipline is advantageous.
• Relevant design experience, including technical documentation and drawing preparation.
• At least five years of fire sprinkler system design experience; experience with water mist, hydrants, and riser systems is beneficial.
