Job summary
V7 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Commissioning Engineer to join a premier fire systems specialist in London. The role focuses on commissioning complex addressable fire alarm systems, programming cause & effect, and verifying interfaces across large, networked installations in prestigious commercial and high-rise properties.
The position offers strong earning potential with regular overtime, day/night shifts, and a permanent or subcontract route.
Qualifications
- Strong fire alarm commissioning experience.
- Cause & effect programming and testing experience.
- Experience with large addressable/networked systems.
- Gent and/or Notifier experience desirable.
- Closed-protocol system experience advantageous.
- Commercial/high-rise experience beneficial.
- Strong technical and fault-finding ability.
- Good understanding of BS 5839.
- Full UK driving licence.
- ECS or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning complex addressable fire alarm systems.
- Programming, testing and proving cause & effect.
- Testing interfaces with associated building systems.
- Fault finding across large networked systems.
- System modifications and upgrades.
- Completing commissioning documentation and handovers.
- Supporting service and project teams with technical issues.
- Working across major commercial and high-rise buildings throughout London.
