Job summary
V7 Recruitment Ltd is actively seeking experienced Fire Service Engineers to support a prominent fire systems specialist in London. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, reactive service and fault finding on addressable fire alarm systems across major commercial and high-rise sites.
Experience with Gent or Notifier is highly desirable, with strong BS 5839 knowledge and manufacturer training. A full UK driving licence and ECS or equivalent are preferred, and permanent or subcontract
Qualifications
- Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Experience with addressable fire alarm systems
- Gent and/or Notifier experience highly desirable
- Closed-protocol experience beneficial
- Good understanding of BS 5839
- Manufacturer training advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Reactive service and fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing system faults
- Small works and minor modifications
- Testing fire alarm systems
- Working across addressable and networked systems
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Working across commercial and high-rise environments throughout London
