Job summary

4way Recruitment Ltd has partnered with a Hampshire fire and security company to recruit a Senior Fire Commissioning Engineer. This role focuses on commissioning addressable fire alarm systems and involves occasional travel across the South Coast.

The successful candidate will bring strong fault-finding skills, a fire-biased background and experience with fire and security systems, plus a full UK driving licence and excellent customer-facing communication.

• Previous experience as a Fire Commissioning Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test addressable fire alarm systems.
• Work with and understand Cause & Effect requirements.
• Service and maintain Fire Alarm systems.
• Service and maintain Security systems.
• Carry out fault finding across both Fire & Security.
• Attend planned and reactive maintenance visits.
• Participate in the company call out rota.
• Provide technical advice and support to other engineers.

Location of Works:

Hampshire & West Sussex (Chichester), with occasional travel across Berkshire, East Sussex, Dorset & Surrey

Salary Bracket:

£40,000 - £50,000 per year (DOE)

On-Target Earnings (OTE):

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Fire Commissioning Engineer to join their established engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fire-biased engineer who has strong experience with addressable fire alarm systems and a good understanding of Cause & Effect. While the role is predominantly focused on fire, you will also be expected to work across security systems, making this an ideal position for an engineer with a strong Fire & Security background.
