Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer to join our established engineering team in St Albans, London & Home Counties. This hands-on senior role combines complex commissioning, fault-finding and technical support, with mentoring and developing other engineers.

The role involves commissioning and fault-finding on fire alarm systems from small standalone setups to 500+ device networks, configuring panels and cause & effect programming, supporting onsite training, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years' fire alarm engineering experience.
• Strong commissioning and fault-finding ability.
• Advanced knowledge of fire alarm configuration.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to commute to St Albans and work across London & Home Counties.

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?

We're looking for a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer to join an established and growing engineering team. This is a hands-on senior role combining complex commissioning, fault-finding and technical support, alongside mentoring and developing other engineers.

• Commission and fault-find on fire alarm systems ranging from small standalone systems to 500+ device networked systems
• Provide technical support to engineers and the wider business
• Configure panels and cause & effect programming
• Support onsite training and development of engineering team members
• Help maintain high standards of compliance, quality and customer service

Experience Required

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' fire alarm engineering experience
• Strong commissioning and fault-finding ability
• Advanced knowledge of fire alarm configuration
• Experience with Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley and/or Kentec
• Knowledge of air sampling, suppression and/or smoke ventilation is advantageous
• A clean UK driving licence
• A stable employment history
• The ability to commute to St Albans and work across London & the Home Counties

£40,000-£45,000 + paid door-to-door travel
