Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a FinOps Consultant/Senior Consultant in London to optimise cloud costs and strengthen financial governance for client organisations. You will review usage, provide detailed financial reporting, and establish governance policies while training teams in FinOps best practices.

You will also engage with cloud vendors, support AI-driven cost management, and lead project streams to shape propositions and drive client value in a consulting context.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering FinOps projects and establishing Cloud FinOps CoE governance models.
• Consulting or advisory background, client-facing excellence.
• Proven ability to build and deliver cloud cost optimisation propositions.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and enforce budget-aligned policies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasting and variance analysis for clients.
• Establish governance policies and best practices for cloud cost control and compliance.
• Provide FinOps training and enablement workshops to promote cost accountability.
• Engage cloud vendors to optimise service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Monitor AI-enabled workloads and integrate AI-assisted tooling into FinOps.
• Lead streams of work and shape propositions as a Consultant or Senior Consultant.
