Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to focus on financial services regulation within its UK practice in London. You will work closely with two other knowledge lawyers, reporting to the Global Director of Financial Services Knowledge, and may line manage a Knowledge Assistant.

The role covers non-contentious regulatory work, drafting precedents, training, and supporting business development initiatives across key client sectors.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with significant legal experience in financial services regulation and operating at a senior level.
• Recognised as an expert in specialist area.
• Experience in drafting complex documents in plain language.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programmes, targeted to the audience.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities across the organisation.
• Experience or interest in the collation, storage and delivery of knowledge.
• Project management experience and problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent legal research skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a sounding board for lawyers to discuss legal issues and provide research support.
• Maintain and draft precedents and practice notes, including complex documents.
• Draft training materials and deliver training to associates, partners and clients.
• Produce external or internal publications in collaboration with partners and PR.
• Prepare UK regulatory updates for blog and articles.
• Assist partners with industry bodies and external events.
• Contribute to know-how strategy and promote use of internal databases and search tools.
• Manage other team members and workflows.
