Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Financial Reporting, Policy & Technical Accounting Senior Analyst to support external financial reporting, policy development and technical accounting input across debt, complex transactions and judgemental areas. You will work closely with the Lead/Head of Financial Reporting and the Risk team to ensure robust governance and compliant outputs.

The role offers exposure to regulatory reporting, collaboration across business divisions and opportunities to influence accounting

Qualifications

• Qualified or degree-educated candidate with experience in financial reporting, accounting or audit.
• Proven ability to implement and operate robust internal controls and governance practices.
• Experience engaging with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality external financial reporting and statutory/group accounts.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and provide technical accounting input across complex matters.
• Support risk disclosures, controls strengthening, and collaboration with Risk, IT, and other functions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators to support audits and examinations.
