Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Norwich with hybrid working. You will join the Group External Reporting team to ensure accurate financial records and robust external reporting at group and entity levels.

You’ll review transactions, lead governance checks, and help produce forecasts and financial statements while coordinating with the Group Centre Finance team and WNS Sri Lanka for output delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in finance roles, including external/internal reporting and GL
• Knowledge of financial control framework and finance systems (Oracle Fusion)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with senior management
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and process-improvement abilities

Responsibilities

• Review key transactions and lead governance checks
• Support production of forecasts and track performance vs forecast
• Produce senior management packs and financial statements
• Coordinate with Group Centre Finance and WNS Sri Lanka outputs
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records for external reporting
