Job summary

Pro Finance is partnering with a leading professional services firm to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager. The role combines technical delivery, client management, and team leadership, delivering high-quality financial reporting services while developing junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA or equivalent, extensive statutory accounts experience in practice, and strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts within practice.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience of group consolidations and financial reporting.
• Strong communication, organisation, and client management skills.
• Previous mentoring or team supervision experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Manage complex group consolidations and technical accounting matters.
• Review financial statements and supporting working papers.
• Act as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support workflow management, coaching, and development of junior staff.
• Drive process improvements and help maintain reporting quality standards.
