Job summary

Deloitte in Manchester invites you to join our M&A Transaction Services team. You will work on high-profile acquisitions and vendor due diligence across corporate and private equity deals in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

With access to cross-border expertise, you will analyse information memoranda, financial statements and projections, supporting senior stakeholders and delivering value across the deal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification or equivalent/experience.
• Experience in M&A Transactions or Financial Due Diligence.
• Strong report writing with attention to detail and risk management.
• Excellent academic background or equivalent experience.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the target business and its drivers.
• Interpretation and analysis of information memoranda, business plans, publicly available information.
• Review and analysis of historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets.
• Review and analysis of projections and underlying assumptions.
• Review of working capital facilities, including financing limits and covenants.
• Evaluation of potential synergies.
• Reporting of key issues for the client including risk considerations.
• Review of the sale and purchase agreement and findings from due diligence.
• Review of financial structures and credit agreements.
• Work effectively in diverse, inclusive teams.
