Job summary

Gambit Search is assisting a London-based accountancy firm in finding an Assistant Manager for its Transaction Services team. The role focuses on delivering financial due diligence across buy-side and sell-side engagements, with growing ownership of projects and client relationships.

The successful candidate will work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners, handling a busy pipeline and providing leadership to junior colleagues. Hybrid working and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence experience.
• Confident Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and transaction processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Take ownership of key workstreams from scoping through to final report delivery.
• Analyse financial performance, working capital, cash flow and key value drivers.
• Prepare reports and present findings to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor and support junior team members.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support pitches, business development and wider team initiatives.
