Job summary

Marex Group seeks a Finance Data Specialist to develop centralized datasets for trading systems, enabling management P&L reporting, balance sheet substantiation and statutory reporting.

You will build datasets, reconcile to the general ledger using EUC tools like Alteryx, Power BI and VBA/Python where needed, and partner with IT and analytics teams to ensure robust, auditable data for finance across the firm.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in Finance within a regulated environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data manipulation experience.
• Interest in data-manipulation techniques and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop core datasets for Marex's trading systems for P&L, balance sheet and statutory reporting.
• Build reconciliations to link datasets to the general ledger using EUC tools such as Alteryx.
• Partner with enterprise data engineers and analytics teams to validate data and ensure adoption by Finance.
