Job summary

Domestic & General is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team. This role is part of the second line function and will help strengthen our financial crime framework across the Group.

You will analyse data, ensure policies, support automation, and deliver MI. The role offers flexible UK location with Wimbledon office visits and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations and risk management.
• Experience within a financial crime, compliance, or risk environment.
• Ability to support regulatory remediation and business change initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant financial crime qualification (e.g. ICA) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse group-wide data to identify fraud and other financial crime trends.
• Ensure group functions have policies to detect and prevent financial crime.
• Support change projects where automation improves prevention.
• Deliver accurate MI and reports showing controls and areas for improvement.
• Support wider team with training materials, MI, risk assessments and policy refreshes.

Senior Financial Crime Analyst

Location: Flexible on location in the UK with visits to our office in Wimbledon

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team.

As part of the second line function, it will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Group's financial crime framework, helping to ensure effective controls, monitoring, and oversight are in place to manage financial crime risk and meet regulatory obligations. Working across the business, the role will contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities that strengthen compliance, support risk management, and drive delivery against the Group's objectives and key results (OKRs).

What you'll be doing:

• Analysing Group wide data to identify trends and themes which can identify fraud and other types of financial crime
• Ensure that Group Business functions have the appropriate policies and procedures to detect and prevent financial crime
• Support change/strategic projects where automation can provide efficient ways of preventing financial crime
• Deliver accurate and timely reports and MI which demonstrates how business functions are manging financial crime, including identifying areas which need control improvements.
• Supporting the wider financial crime and Compliance team with training material, MI, analysis, risk assessments and policy refreshes
