Job summary

Domestic & General Group is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join the Risk & Compliance team. The role is flexible on location in the UK with visits to Wimbledon and other offices, supporting second line controls, monitoring, and regulatory obligations across the Group.

You will analyze data, develop policies, and drive automation-driven improvements while delivering MI and risk assessments to strengthen compliance and risk management across functions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations and risk management.
• Experience within a financial crime, compliance, or risk environment.
• Ability to support regulatory remediation and business change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing group-wide data to identify fraud and other financial crime trends.
• Ensure policies and procedures detect and prevent financial crime across functions.
• Support change projects where automation improves prevention of financial crime.
• Deliver accurate and timely MI/reports showing how functions manage financial crime.
• Assist with training material, MI, risk assessments and policy refreshes.

Working across the business, the role will contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities that strengthen compliance, support risk management, and drive delivery against the Group's objectives and key results (OKRs). **What you’ll be doing:*** Analysing Group wide data to identify trends and themes which can identify fraud and other types of financial crime* Ensure that Group Business functions have the appropriate policies and procedures to detect and prevent financial crime* Support change/strategic projects where automation can provide efficient ways of preventing financial crime* Deliver accurate and timely reports and MI which demonstrates how business functions are manging financial crime, including identifying areas which need control improvements.* Supporting the wider financial crime and Compliance team with training material, MI, analysis, risk assessments and policy refreshes **What you'll bring:*** Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations and risk management.* Experience within a financial crime, compliance, or risk environment.* Ability to support regulatory remediation and business change initiatives.* Strong analytical skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.* Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.* Relevant financial crime qualification (e.g. ICA) desirable. **We offer lots of great benefits!
