Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join an established infrastructure business in East Sussex.

The role covers full finance operation, month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, with responsibility for the finance team and working closely with senior management. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, leadership ability, and experience in project-based environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a financial controller or senior finance role.
• Strong month-end, reporting and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience managing a finance team and cashflow management.
• Experience in infrastructure/project-based businesses is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end and management accounts process.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial and management reports.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Manage cashflow forecasting and working capital.
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
• Develop, coach and mentor the finance team.
• Provide commercial financial analysis to senior management.
• Collaborate with operational teams on infrastructure projects.
